Agricultural Engineering Services

     The basic requirements of a marginal farmers are garden implements, farm equipments, farm machineries etc. The department proposes to procure and distribute the most required farm implements and machineries to the needy farmers on subsidized cost with a view to assist them in maximizing their per capita income from their unit holdings. This will be the minimum basic service rendered towards the farming community. The scheme envisages to distribute the implements like mammatty, bucket, crowbar, flower pots etc. Fencing material like Linkmesh and angle iron poles, garden sprayers, farm implements/machinery and their spare parts, heliflex hose and also POL for using them in power tillers and sprayers.  Procurement of farm requirements also included. Subsidy will be pruned down from the present 30 % to 0 % at the end of the X^th FYP.
